...as a Hotel- and Tourism Educational Institution considering the fact how much time and energy you are putting into your profession - and students every day!

We are looking for individuals like you - the very professionals shaping the Hotel Managers from Tomorrow!

We believe that you have a right to expand the content of their teachings to individuals, who may not have the typical social background of a Graduate from your School - but who will have a great influence on your Graduates' future success once they are working at their own career in Hotels worldwide!

Unfortunately, not every Hotel employee ever had a chance to undergo the kind of training which you are giving your students the opportunity to enjoy. Still, these individuals have the same duty to exercise their work in their own field of profession to the best possible extent - very often directly influencing the professional image of your former Graduates!

It is Tomorrow's Hotel Managers - and probably many of your own Graduates - who will be responsible that the duties of those without formal Hotel School Education are turned into professional practice every day.

One of the largest, if not THE LARGEST Hotel Department in most Hotels, is the Housekeeping Department and - as simple as it may sound: A Hotel could not call itself a Hotel without it!

You know of course that if it were not for a couple of rooms which the Housekeepers were getting ready for sale, that is: getting cleaned for Guests to use them - a Hotel could not consider itself part of the lodging industry...

That's why it is not unusual at all to "think cleaning when thinking Housekeeping".

However, another important aspect with the Housekeeping Department, a kind of side effect, is often forgotten: It is the fact that Hotel Housekeepers not only are caring for the Interior of a Million-Dollar-Environment, an interior furnished with fine fabrics and materials, that are easier 'killed than cleaned'.

We are referring to an even more delicate 'part of the Hotel', which it is the Housekeeping Department's duty to take care of within their field of responsibility - the Guests, whose value cannot be measured in money ... but who are by far more difficult to care for than velvet, satin and fine wooden furnishings...

In your field of profession, we are sure that you will pass on all the knowledge you yourself ever acquired at a Hotel School or during your own professional career to your students.

The problem is: regular Maids, Room Attendants and Cleaners are not aware of your requirements concerning your graduates.

They very often never had the chance to attend an appropriate school to enable them to communicate with their colleagues on the same mutual level of understanding before taking up their position at the Hotel.

They are also not the kind of employees who will be given the opportunity to advance in their profession by allowing them to gain the kind of basic knowledge of the Hotel Business which your employees at i.e. the Front Desk were being communicated during their first year at school!

We are not talking about the regular on-the-job trainings Housekeeping Staff may be required to undergo:

We are talking about a level of education which we refer to as HOTEL MANAGEMENT FOR MAIDS & CLEANERS!

What sounds incredible at first - is a rather serious approach to a kind of Hotel Education which should be included in the basic formal school training of ANY Hotel Employee.

Unless people know how the enterprise they are earning their money in is working - they will never quite earn the kind of acknowledgment which is the very source of true motivation in any job - nor will they be able to deliver the kind of quality service required by your Guests.

Considering the fact that working in a Million-Dollar-Environment has a direct influence on the financial value of the Hotel and knowing that Housekeeping Staff has one of the most personal insights into a Hotel Guests 'temporary living space' - and ready access to their Room or Suite - there is just more than one reason to support these employees' formal Hotel Education and a personal and exceptional motivation of these individuals - which automatically comes along with their Certification.

The 'School-In-A-Pool'-Housekeeping Project intends to provide free formal Housekeeping Education to selected applicants around the World of Hospitality - building a Pool of Housekeeping Professionals which you may find being of advantage for your enterprise as well.

The good news is: We don't want your money - we would prefer your support - and that of your employees and trainees.

If you would like to promote your own professional attitude towards this topic
- and that of your enterprise, not only on our website, but also in any other project-related information - you may welcome the thought of buying ONE of our blue School-In-A-Pool Ribbons at the price of just Euro 5,40 per ribbon , as a "symbolic drop of water for our Pool of Knowledge".

We would also appreciate a few personal words together with the ribbon order, for us to publish online and in our project-related materials, which will also include a link to the homepage of your Institute.

Since Formal Housekeeping Education for Maids, Room Attendants and Cleaners is not a 'Third World Problem' - but indeed a rather global one, we are accepting applications from Maids and Cleaners on a global basis and will see to it that the right individuals will be able to participate in the appropriate School-In-A-Pool-Education Project in a city near them.

By displaying the project's Official Sign, the Blue Ribbon bearing its Credo 'Knowledge, not just cleaning', at your Hotel School or Institution, your partners will be aware of your support of Individuals, who as you are reading these lines are still excluded from a professional approach to the Hotel Business via formal Hotel Education.

If you are interested to join this project - and want to know how YOU will be represented in it for a Euro 5,40 fee - (incl. tax and postage) - please contact us here.

P.S. Please consider the fact that even though we are providing free educational services to our applicants - this is not a charity project:

Your agreement with this project should not be 'a heart-felt issue' - but a professional point of view - which is what really counts in this project!
